I just remember the first time I had ever scene the trilogy, I was in first grade and absolutely loved this scene, squealed and everything~
Please no incest comments! I know the story (Clearly) but I will always love this from the perspective of when I first ever saw the movies.

I loved this scene too and we all know this was not the only time they kissed. Without incest kissing between siblings is not a no-no and I guess George wasn't sure how these two would be in the next few stories. As a young man in his late teens I wondered a weird thing: WHAT IF Luke decided not to tell Leia she was his sister? Not that I wanted them to go further but it wasn't until their third kiss that it was revealed to him & that Lucas decided how they were interact as siblings. lol I guess the plots in the movies took a life of their own since they varied quite a bit from his books & since books usually preceded movies George had his mind changed quite a bit.
